Classifying purses as large or small is not an exact science.  Rather it is based on how easily lots of "stuff" will fit into the purse, the general impression the size and shape give us, and the ease of access to the interior as well as the overall dimensions.

That said, here is a page of small purses that have an overall dimension (W + H + D) of less than 18".

All measurements are in inches (e.g. 9" Wide x 10" High x 2" Deep would be 9 x 10 x 2).
